Kiara took several prep classes over the course of many months and spent countless hours studying. She was so focused on getting ready for the exam, she found herself studying even on a vacation to France this summer.
What Is a CFP® Professional?
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is one of the most recognized professional credentials in financial planning. Earning the certification involves meeting education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements established by the CFP Board.
For clients, working with a CFP® professional can provide an additional level of confidence that their advisor has demonstrated knowledge across the major areas of personal financial planning such as taxes, retirement income, estate planning, insurance, and ultimately a client’s long-term goals.
